Someone has to be in charge. The Chiefs have simply decided it’s them. Calm heads, big decisions and absolutely no shortage of opinions about where that last ball should have gone. Wearing gold was perhaps inevitable — they’re hardly going to choose beige with a name like Chiefs. Expect leadership, determination and plenty of competitive spirit. They’ve got the headdress, they’ve got the authority; now they just need the points to back it up.
