Saturday schedule

At 11am on Saturday 9th December we will conduct a live draw – allocating players into each triples team. Entrants have been assigned to a pot from which they will be drawn. There are three pots and they are targeted to include players of broadly equal ability. Each triples team will consist of one player, randomly drawn, from each pot.

Each group game will consist of two legs and will be played as a triples match – with a difference!!! All matches will commence with the home player from Pot 1 taking the opening break. They will play against the opposing Pot 1 player for a maximum of 5 minutes. At this time, a changeover will be called by the tournament organisers, and swiftly players will leave the table – even if it is mid-break!! – and player from Pot 2 will continue the game from where it has been left. They will play for 5 minutes and then a further swift changeover will be called. The players from Pot 3 will then conclude the game. The leg win will be awarded to the team with the most accumulated points.

To determine group positions, the group will be ordered by number of leg wins followed by aggregate score.
